This page explains the small pieces of data (cookies and similar browser storage) that scandecinc.com puts on your device and why. We keep them to the minimum needed to run the Website.
What we use
Strictly necessary
- sd_sid (cookie): keeps you signed in. Lasts until you close your browser. Needed for your account to work.
- sd_mail (cookie): helps our contact and support forms stop spam by limiting how many messages can be sent in a short time. Lasts until you close your browser.
- sd_age (browser storage and cookie): remembers that you confirmed you are 18+ so we do not ask on every page. Lasts up to one year.
- sd_cookie (browser storage and cookie): remembers the choice you made on the cookie notice. Lasts up to one year.
These do not need your consent because the Website cannot work safely or lawfully without them.
Games and sign-in
- Our games load inside a frame from our own game servers. They may use their own cookies or browser storage to save things like game settings or sound preferences.
- Google sign-in, only if you choose to use it, loads a script from Google, which may set its own cookies. See Google's privacy policy.
We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.
Fonts
Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading them does not send your information to a font provider.
Your choices
- Use the Cookie settings button in the footer to see the cookie notice again and change your choice.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, you will not be able to sign in.
- Clearing your browser data will make us ask for your age confirmation again.
